Life is different

I have lost 30pds. and my life is different. I do feel really good! I have alot more energy and I find myself running up the basement steps with laundry and that is so much different than when i was heavier, because i crawled up those steps and was breathing heavy when i did that! My clothes fit so much better they are now at the point i am digging out the smaller sizes i had, but still have to buy some new summer clothes!Yes! Taking care of my son Price who has disabilities is easier! He is sooo big (weighs 130 and is 5'7!) and is lift him alot. Lately its been alot easier to lift him and that is a VERY GOOD THING!!  I look forward to my workouts in the morning and that in itself is a miracle. I am very happy I lost the weight and look forward to losing alittle bit more! Bye for now...Patty.

friday MAY 13

Friday is here and I have had a hard day. Things about work have upset me can't go into detail. Have I eaten poorly? Truthfully, yes. Pizza, pop and I can't go into detail..there is a pattern here. I see it very clearly today when I am tired and upset I put food into my mouth and its not good stuff. I have always known that but today I really feel bad about it. I will get this thing figured out though...tomorrow tomorrow is another day....bye for now Patty.

The days are passing fast!

Our weigh in for May will be a week earlier because of Memorial Day weekend. So its less time to lose some weight. I am having a slow month, so I really need to kick it up a notch now. I still am exercising everyday, but i am not as diligent with watching what I eat. I guess you could call it maintaining. I want to switch it up and eat not so much less, but veggies, salads, fruits. I like all those foods, but.....oh the but! Bye for now Patty.

Saturday May 7

I finally got my new computer so I can blog and go on facebook! It's been a tough week. I know I haven't lost any weight, but I haven't gained any either! I am eating foods I had been steering clear of such as bread, pasta, and meats...oh boy I just feel blah and thank God I am still working out. I really think the rainy, cloudy weather has gotten to me. I feel much better when the sunshines and that has finally happened today so there are no more excuses..onward....please God help me, and that prayer is serious I need strength, dicipline, but most of all His grace..bye for now Patty

weigh-in yesterday

The April weigh-in was yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised! I had not been weighing myself for awhile and thought that pigging out on Easter had me gaining weight, but I went right back to eating right and working out and I did lose 7pds!yea! Anyway I went under 200 pds. and I am very happy! All my hard work is paying off, and I mean hard work. This challenge is not as easy as I thought it was going to be! I realize that eating right and working out is very hard, because eating right makes you have to think out what your eating next and maybe have to take the time to prepare it, not just grab at any random food(especially sandwiches!) and working out i d like, but getting up at 5A.M.which is my only time to do that, can be hard some mornings..... I really wanted to win this challenge because I am so competitive, but know I realize even if I don't win per say I win because I have lost weight and doing this for all these months has made put me in a routine that I will strive to always do and by losing the weight I win, because I feel good I have more energy I have lowered my blood pressure and cholesterol, It's easier to take care of Price....these benefits plus more my friends are GREAT!! bye for now Patty
